Miss Brown
Miss Brown is beginning her 21st year at Christ the King Catholic School. She was born in Chicago, Illinois, and raised in Miami, Florida, where she attended Catholic schools through high school and college. Miss Brown holds both a Bachelor of Science degree and a Master of Science degree in Elementary Education from Barry University in Miami Shores, Florida. After teaching 8 years for the Archdiocese of Miami, she moved to Arizona in 1995. She teaches 7th and 8th grade English grammar, literature, and social studies-emphasizing world geography in 7th grade and United States history in 8th grade. Additionally, she teaches religion and vocabulary to 8th grade. As the 8th grade teacher, Miss Brown enjoys preparing the students as they move on to high school.
